Summer flower Nursery Klepper is located in Ouddorp in the extreme south west of South Holland.
The nursery is currently run by two generations of Klepper.
Father Lienus Klepper started growing summer flowers in the late 1980s on a plot behind the house. Before long he expanded onto various plots around Ouddorp, so that the nursery quickly had a total area of 18 ha. With this size of company, in the 1990s, the Klepper nursery was a leading grower of high quality summer flowers.
Since 2005, most of the plots are centred around the new business on the Oudelandseweg where son Teun lives on the premises. The size of the company is still about 20 ha, but cultivation has intensified. The nursery distinguishes itself by continuously coming with new crops and new growing techniques.
Since the move to the new premises, in the winter, Klepper nursery focuses on growing pot flower bulbs.
The package of summer flowers grown by Klepper is quite extensive. At the nursery Peony, Aconitum, Campanula, Solidago, Veronica, Ornamental cabbage, Lysimachia ’Elisabeth’, Ammi visnage and Leonotis are grown. This is just a selection of the products grown. In addition, new product innovations are constantly carried out to keep the collection interesting to buyers.
